Daryl Aberhart is well-known as a Newcastle-based jazz/blues vocalist, pianist, and composer.
For the last 25 years (since moving to Newcastle in '99) he has been quietly writing and releasing a bunch of punchy, melodic Aussie garage/pub rock songs.
Saturday May 4th will be the first time Daryl has ever performed a set of these tunes in public. He will be playing with daughter Grace Aberhart's band, with a surprise local legend joining them on vocals.
It's free entry from 8:30pm with special guests including the sublime James Reynolds and band playing songs from his new album.
