The Re-Mains w/ Adam Young& The Down Man

Twenty three years ago The Re-Mains began their country rock and roll crusade in Nimbin NSW.
The band swiftly conquered the Northern Rivers, expanding their sphere of operations to Tamworth, Sydney and Newcastle and eventually as far as Darwin, Melbourne and Swan Hill. Their debut album Thank You For Supporting Country Rock and Roll earned multi-star reviews in major dailies and album of the week on several regional ABC radio stations, as well as Melbourne’s RRR and PBS.

That album opened the floodgates and soon the band was playing the first of five East Coast Blues and Roots Festivals, Splendour in the Grass and began a twenty year residency at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. They were regularly touring through the Northern Territory and out to Perth and Broome, but always maintained a solid base in regional NSW, Queensland and Victoria.

In 2008 they made the first of four Canadian tours. Europe followed, and with the release of an eventual eight albums the band has crisscrossed Australia a hundred times, had more members than the Melbourne Hit Mans Association and regularly played major festivals including the first Dashville and three times subsequently, Darwin Fest, Swan Hill, Tennant Creek Fest, Mt Isa Rodeo, St Kilda Fest, Nymagee Festival, the North Coast National and every other rodeo, inner city dive and rambling country pubs you could name.

Just a year and a bit shy of their 25 year anniversary, The Re-Mains return to the Stag and Hunter with Adam Young and the Down Main.
